Singer-songwriters Daisy Chute and Cerian co-founded the collective HEARD after they first met in the studio recording vocals for Radiohead’s A Moon Shaped Pool album in 2016, and singing I lan Eshkeri’s score for the Burberry fashion show shortly after.

Both multi-instrumentalists with Celtic roots, renowned for their angelic voices, the pair decided to combine forces and form a new collective of female musicians who tour together, play together and support one another. Born out of a desire for more female representation in the industry, the idea was inspired by collectives such as Nashville-based I’m With Her and British collaborations Songs of Separation and Woman to Woman, taking musical inspiration from the indiefolk styles of First Aid Kit, The Staves and their ilk.

Cerian and Daisy take their music beyond London, touring together as HEARD alongside special guests. Between them they play a dozen different instruments from guitar and piano to harp and banjo, and create vocal soundscapes inspired by their time as choral scholars and their subsequent musical projects; Daisy was a founding member of platinum-selling classical group All Angels, and Cerian has sung for musical giants U2, Imogen Heap and more.
